Capital Accord Chorus

The Capital Accord Chorus held its annual Spring Benefit Concert and collected cash and clothing contributions to benefit Suited for Change. Board member, Rebecca Hughes attended on behalf of Suited for Change, answering questions, distributing receipts, and addressing the more than 100 attendees who enjoyed an evening of choral performances.

Holton Arms PUNCH Fashion Show

The Holton Arms PUNCH Fashion Show again donated its proceeds to Suited for Change. Barbara Harrison, on her Midday Show on NBC 4, interviewed two students and the SFC Executive Director on opening day. Board members, Barbara Camens and Kathleen King, accepted a check on behalf of Suited for Change. Peggy Morrison-Curtis thanked students and attendees for their ongoing support.

Get in the Game

Get in the Game Sports for Women recently announced its 2008 community partnership with Suited for Change. Lady lawyers and law students take to the courts, the basketball courts that is, for fun and camaraderie. In addition, they select a local nonprofit which focuses on women and children to work with throughout the year and support with the proceeds of their annual tournament.
