Volunteers are the backbone of Suited for Change. All of our services including styling appointments and virtual/in-person coaching sessions are led by our amazing volunteer base, who dedicate a substantial amount of their time to give back to the community.
Our stylists work one-on-one with the client, not only ensuring that everyone leaves with an impeccable work wardrobe, but also providing a personal and warm atmosphere in our boutique. Our volunteers are deeply committed to Suited for Change’s mission, some have been a part of our community for over 15 years!
Our mentor coach volunteers are former public service workers, HR professionals, or senior managers, to guarantee our clients are fully equipped to ace their interviews and land the job. Through this expansion of our Professional Development Program, we are able to build confidence, highlight personal strengths, and prepare our clients for the tough questions.
Not only do our clients leave Suited for Change ready to thrive in a professional work environment, but our volunteers are also impacted by every personal encounter.
