This month, we are sending a special thank you to one of our longtime donors and Board Members, Jamshed Mulla.
Growing up, Jamshed was surrounded by strong female role-models, the biggest influence being his mother, Tehmi. She came up from very little and through hard work, perseverance, and encouragement from others she battled the odds and became a medical doctor, serving others until her late seventies.
Inspired by his mother’s incredible journey, Jamshed became committed to lifting up other women who simply “need that initial helping hand to get going.” And at Suited for Change, that is exactly what we do.
For the past 30 years, we have relied on the generosity of others to empower the women in our community as they continue along their professional journey.
The clothing we provide at Suited for Change is only a piece of the puzzle to success, and as said so eloquently by Jamshed,
“the suit is only part of what we do.” Through professional development coaching opportunities and being surrounded by others whose sole purpose is to lift up others, our clients are able to see themselves in a whole new light.
We admire Jamshed’s passion to give back and empower others, and acknowledge just how deep his roots are tied to Suited for Change.
We are incredibly grateful to have him, and all of you, as members of our community who are dedicated to empowering women on their path to economic independence.
