Last week, Suited for Change had the incredible honor to be featured on NBC News4 and share the impactful story of one of our clients: Tiyika.
Back in 1997, Tiyika walked through the door of the SFC boutique. Like so many of our clients, Tiyika needed an extra boost to get her professional career started. With the help of our volunteers and staff, Tiyika walked away with the clothing AND confidence she needed to launch her career.
Twenty-four years later, she now works as a history teacher in PG County and after the brunt of the pandemic she reached out to SFC once again, but this time to give back to other women as a donor.
