In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Development Finance (DFi) Women’s Leadership Network within The World Bank met with Fernanda Parreira Menezes , SFC Marketing and Program Manager, and Diedra Yates, SFC Board Member, to celebrate the strength, resilience, and creativity of women.
The DFi members had such an amazing time learning more about Suited for Change’s mission to equip women in need with professional attire, coaching, and skills training, as they continue along their path to financial independence.
We love sharing the joy we see on a daily basis at the SFC boutique and emphasizing how something as simple as a suit can completely transform a client’s perception of themself. As said by Gail, a former SFC client, "when you are wearing something you feel good about, your whole demeanor changes."
It was so encouraging to see how eager the DFi Women’s Leadership Network was to learn more about how they can support SFC from volunteering at events to running a clothing drive as we continue to empower the women in our community.
