Meet Britepaths, our latest referral partner! After being introduced to Britepaths through a member of our SFC family, we are thrilled to have a new partner in the Fairfax Area!
Britepaths, formerly Our Daily Bread, provides programs to equip individuals and families with the necessary tools to not only survive, but thrive as they begin a journey to lasting independence.
As March is Women’s History Month, our partnership with Britepaths has expanded to include a virtual “Smart and Sexy” event for 25 of their clients later this month. Thanks to the Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits, each participant will receive a Walmart gift certificate that can be used towards a Smart & Sexy purchase.
The workshop, Creating a Lasting Impression: Look Professional, Communicate Your Value, Earn Your Worth, provides women with the tools to look and feel their best when heading into a professional atmosphere.
Our longtime volunteer and professional wardrobe stylist, Robin Finnell, will host a segment dedicated to “What Not to Wear” while also giving tips on how to look the part in an interview.
We cannot wait to host more workshops in tandem with Britepaths in the future!
