Shenita Got The Job

When she arrived at the Suited for Change boutique earlier this month, Shenita urgently needed a suit for her second interview later that same day!
Wanting to ensure Shenita went to her interview with her best foot forward, our suiting volunteer Karen scoured the racks for the perfect suit. Magically, the first suit Shenita tried on was a perfect fit. After adding some jewelry, a handbag, and shoes, Shenita's confidence grew tremendously.
Looking at herself in the mirror, she was so overwhelmed with joy and said,
"I'm just taking it all in stride."
Only two days later, Shenita returned to the SFC boutique to share the wonderful news: she got the job!
Seeing the joy on Shenita’s face, we are reminded of just how important it is that we continue to empower the women in our community.
