After first welcoming DC Councilmember, Brooke Pinto, into the Suited for Change community this past June, we were honored to finally have her visit our boutique in the heart of Washington DC.
After being sworn in on June 27, 2020, Brooke became the youngest member elected to the Council of the District of Columbia in history, and the first woman to represent Ward 2.
Sharing our passion for empowering women, Councilmember Pinto will continue her work on behalf of District residents focusing on taking up the call for greater justice, ensuring that the law — both as written and as enforced — is fair for everyone.
In recognition of our 30th Anniversary, Councilmember Brooke Pinto dedicated a resolution recognizing SFC’s continued efforts in the community to empower local women and project confidence and self-worth so they can secure and sustain professional employment.
Thank you Brooke Pinto for sharing our passion for uplifting the women that we serve!
