Partnership Highlight: Catholic Charities

With workshops reaching new heights in 2022, we have spent a lot of time getting to know our referral partners on a deeper level. One of which is Catholic Charities.
Founded all the way back in 1910, Catholic Charities has been dedicated to providing services to people in need and advocating for justice in social structures. Their collective efforts focus on a set of strategic priorities that make a difference in the lives of people in need.
Since January, we have held workshops with Catholic Charities, meeting more of their clients, sharing information about our suiting and coaching services, and giving detailed workshops on how to dress for the job and interview techniques.
Our most recent workshop with Catholic Charities led by our Marketing and Program Manager, Fernanda, focused on smoothing out the small details to make the best first impression during an interview. First impressions occur within a tenth of a second, so it is vital to lead with your best foot forward with the proper jacket, shoes, and accessories.
Regardless of the type of position, it is important to always dress a step above what you would wear on the job during the interview process. Not only does wearing a suit help you look more professional, but it also can give you that extra boost in confidence to carry you through the interview.
We had such a BLAST with the Catholic Charities clients at our workshops so far this year and we cannot wait to see how many more lives can be positively impacted through our services.
Since our workshops with Catholic Charities, we have seen an increase in the number of clients coming in for suiting sessions. Every client from Catholic Charities has walked into the SFC boutique full of excitement and ready to get that final piece to look and feel their best for their next interview.
